Voowy (“App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a user-generated short video sharing platform that allows users to upload and view video content.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

  • A One-Time Password (OTP) is sent to verify your identity.
  • OTP services may be processed via third-party services such as Firebase Authentication.

Your phone number is used strictly for:

  • Login verification
  • Account security
  • Preventing fraudulent or duplicate accounts

We do not sell or use phone numbers for marketing purposes.

C. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

3. ADVERTISING

Voowy displays advertisements through:

  • Subscription management, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their policies.

For billing issues, users must contact Google Play support.

Deletion Process:

  • Account is deactivated after request submission.
  • Data is retained for up to 60 days for possible reactivation.
  • After 60 days, data is permanently deleted.
  • Requests are processed within 7–15 working days.

Once permanently deleted, accounts cannot be restored.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, accessing, or using Voowy (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
  • If you are under 18, you must use the App under parental or guardian supervision.

3. USER ACCOUNT

Users may register using:

  • Phone number (OTP verification)
  • Google login
  • Facebook login

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Voowy is a user-generated content (UGC) platform.

Users may upload:

  • Videos
  • Images
  • Stickers
  • Captions
  • Comments

You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

5. CONTENT OWNERSHIP

You retain ownership of the content you upload.

However, by uploading content, you grant Voowy a:

  • Non-exclusive
  • Worldwide
  • Royalty-free
  • Revocable

license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App for operational purposes.

This license ends when your content is deleted, except where required for legal compliance.

6. PROHIBITED CONTENT

You agree NOT to upload:

  • Copyrighted movie clips without permission
  • Full movie songs or music without rights
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Violent or illegal content
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights

Violation may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account termination

7. INTERMEDIARY STATUS

Voowy operates as an intermediary under applicable Indian laws.

8. COPYRIGHT POLICY

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Voowy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • User-generated content
  • Loss of data
  • Service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access beyond reasonable control

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AS7MEDIA INC from any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from:

  • Your uploaded content
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of any law or third-party rights

15. TERMINATION

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You repeatedly infringe copyright
  • You engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior

16. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
